Neapolitan Yellow
A mio avviso è giusto dare spazio a gare di cosplayer or events but do not forget that in a cultural event of this type that should be more emphasis is, logically, the comic! I always found it bizarre to see the stand of goodies, candles and fashion models next to conferences on major authors of comics. Inside the prestigious Castel S. Elmo can not clash with the sellers of cotton candy and pleasant despite the coming and going of boys ready to compete in a tournament by sword foam or clothing as the heroes of an anime, Salon International Comics gives precedence to all guests with a variety of comics-related meetings, conferences and exhibitions. And for me that I love this medium because of clouds NapoliComicon is the show for you.
And it is for a reason not to be underestimated: the perfect organization and the competence and kindness of the staff working there that year. My estimate is always Luca Boschi (the eclectic cultural director) and Claudio Curcio (Director General of the brave) and my thanks for the hospitality goes to all staff: Claudia, Angela, Federica (involved to gracious' hospitality) to Antonio (talented driver who has run around me and Bill Willingham to Naples), and Alina Alina (What beautiful exhibits!) Joseph Colella (always balance to the animated film industry) and also thanks to Simone Salis ( My companion weekend is young satirist) e. .. to everyone else! Among
, By Massimo Carnevale and Tanino Liberatore: with him in the morning, I shared the waiting bus that took us to Comicon and his gentle wife we \u200b\u200bquibble about the various differences of life between Italy and France, for end up talking about copyright with Ivo Milazzo. One Sunday morning to remember, anzichèno! Mica happen every day.
But keep in mind is undoubtedly the reason why I was invited to NapoliComicon. Since this year the color was yellow, mostly it was decided to carve out a space for the family of world famous yellow, or "The Simpsons" and host of the exception was Phil Ortiz, designer of the comics and animator of the TV series. But besides being of unquestionable professionalism and skill is undeniably cute! I was with him to share a meeting with the public, to quibble Simpson, cartoons, TV movies, Disney movies and anything else and we improvised a nice duet where I play Krusty the Clown and he answered me in Italian with English Dan Castellaneta same voice that would do when he has dubbed a cynical clown. And, icing on the cake, we exchanged the gifts of a pen! I was also invited to sign autographs with him but fate cynical and cheat but especially a train back to Rome prevented me from doing it!
